Kaitlynn Riehl

My name is Kaitlynn Riehl and I am so excited to be the music teacher at Inspire! I have taught music at an elementary school in Oregon for the past three years. Before that, I grew up in Bend, Oregon before going to the University of Oregon where I graduated with a Bachelors of Music Education in 2019. Over my three years of teaching my philosophy of music education has changed to focus on the value that music has in helping students understand their own feelings and express themselves to others. I love teaching at the elementary level because I get to bring music to every student in the school and help each one find their own way to have music in their lives. I’m looking forward to bringing this philosophy to the students at Inspire!
