Work at Inspire

Inspire Elementary staff are dedicated to our school’s mission to leverage children’s passions, talents, and learning styles to create an educational experience that cultivates the whole child. We strongly believe that each person, regardless of position, has the ability to impact student growth and success by guiding students to be the best they can be. We consistently seek out individuals who believe in academic achievement and social emotional learning. At the core of Inspire Elementary is the notion that children and adults learn together.

Guest Teacher (Substitute)
The district is facing a guest teacher shortage. Insomuch that schools are calling operational closures. While Inspire is not experiencing the same level of concern as many other schools, it does create strain when we do not have class coverage and need to pull staff from within the building to do so. This position does require DPS employment (not a volunteer position) and is a paid position. If you have the availability and are interested, please follow the steps below:

  1. Apply for a Substitute Authorization through the Colorado Department of Education.
  2. After you have have the receipt of application, complete the DPS application.
  3. Notify Linda August, Principal at when both applications are complete so we can reach out to Human Resources to confirm next steps.
