Hi! My name is Greta Meyer and I’m so excited to join the Inspire team! I grew up in San Diego speaking fluent Spanish and English, as both my parents are from Peru. After receiving my M.Ed, I moved to Singapore where I was a Reading Instructor for 3 years. The training I received in a special phonics methodology was very valuable. Returning to the states, I taught Dual Language Immersion for a year in Fort Collins and 7 years in Wyoming. Recently, I taught 6th – 8th Grade Spanish Language Arts at Manhattan Middle School in Boulder. I have loved working with second language learners for 12 years and am so excited to be the new Multilingual Education Teacher at Inspire! When I’m not teaching, I love cooking, watching basketball, spending time outdoors, and having fun with my family and 2 Boston Terriers, Joey and Lucy. We love heading up to the mountains, especially in the summer to escape the heat.
