1st Grade

Hello! I am so excited for another amazing year at Inspire! I grew up right outside Washington, D.C. in Chevy Chase, MD. After completing my bachelor’s in Elementary Education and English, I continued on at Vanderbilt University and obtained my master’s in Reading Education. It is my mission to build upon each student’s interests and strengths to make my classroom as meaningful and joyful as possible. I love supporting young readers by meeting them where they are and providing instruction that is tailored to their needs. Literacy is my passion and it is so incredible to see the growth that each student makes in 1st grade as a reader, writer, and critical thinker! We will be doing a lot of hard work together this year and we will have a blast! When I’m not at Inspire, I’ll be playing with my kitty Tub, working out, cooking, dancing, and basking in Colorado’s beauty.
