Hello! My name is Cristina Botello Godoy and I am beyond excited to be part of the Kindergarten team at Inspire entering my 9th year of teaching. Throughout the years, I’ve taught ECE and most recently 5th grade–total extremes! I am more than ecstatic to go back to my roots and work with young learners again! I am a firm believer in building authentic and organic relationships with students, which in turn creates a safe space for learning and risk-taking! Furthermore, I believe that nurturing and tending to social/emotional needs paves the way to academic success. I am a Denver native and was raised in the Park Hill area. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Human Development from Metropolitan State University of Denver. A year after completing my Bachelors, I enrolled at the University of Denver and graduated with a masters in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education. During my free time I like to spend time with my husband and our two dogs Marley and Hank. We love to try new recipes, travel, watch movies, organize our home, host our family and friends for dinner and go to concerts. I am also always trying to develop new skills and hobbies!
