CJ Willard

Hello! My name is CJ and I am thrilled to be the Drama teacher at Inspire Elementary! I’m originally from Orlando, FL but I’ve lived in Colorado for 10 years. I attended Florida State University where I studied Interdisciplinary Social Studies, but I’ve always been drawn to the stage. After acting and performing throughout elementary, middle, and high school, I did stand-up comedy for several years before switching my focus to improv. I’ve been doing improv for 9 years and I’ve taught it for 6, so I’m excited to bring my training and expertise to the new Drama program at Inspire. I believe that there are incredible lessons to be learned and skills to be gained by tapping into the creative, dramatic, and comedic parts of ourselves, and I can’t wait to show that to the students.  My wife and I are parents to twins, and as a family we love spending time in our backyard garden, running through the sprinklers, and taking a lap at Target on the weekends.
