Hey! My name is Cara Bayern. I recently started working in the schools after over 13 years in the hospital, the last 9 years at Children’s Hospital Colorado. I am so excited to make the transition to school-based Occupational Therapy services and getting to work with children in their natural environment rather than when they are hospitalized. I was born and raised in small-town Missouri and moved to Denver in 2010 after graduating from Saint Louis University with my Occupational Therapy degree. When I’m not at work I enjoy spending time with my husband and our 4 year old and 1 year old sons. We love traveling, doing things outside and anything sports related! I am passionate about helping each child reach their fullest potential while also having fun, building confidence, and celebrating the many successes that will happen in our therapy sessions.
