Howdy! My name is Amy Fortier (4-chay) and I am from Houston, Texas. My husband, Hunter, and I recently moved to Denver, CO from Spokane, WA, and I am thrilled to be joining the team at Inspire Elementary as the Special Education teacher. I attended Texas A&M University (Gig’em Aggies!) where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in marketing. However, my passion was to always be a teacher. I went back and obtained my teaching certification, and have had the joy of teaching for the past 14 years in Texas, Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin, Missouri, and Washington. It is my hope to instill a joy of learning and a sense of success in all students that I work with. When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and my Bernedoodle, Newman. I love going on walks with my pup, as well as trying new restaurants, and am excited for the school year ahead!
