Hi, I am Amy Bergner and so excited to be a part of Inspire Elementary. I have taught for 23 years in 3rd-8th grades. I love math and watching kids solve problems they never thought they could! I grew up in Michigan and graduated from Michigan State University with my undergrad in Marketing. I then went on to earn my Masters of Elementary Education from University of Colorado at Denver, study English Language Learning at Northern Colorado University, and my Masters in Administration from Grand Canyon University. I love teaching and 5th grade is my favorite as students get ready to move to middle school! When I am not teaching I love spending time with my family! My husband Bryan and I have 4 kids. My oldest daughter lives in southwest Denver with my 3 amazing grandsons. My kiddos at home are Zander (12 in 7th Grade), Filey (11 in 6th grade), and Caroline (9 in 4th grade). They are all in many activities including soccer, baseball, volleyball, softball, basketball, ;and piano. I love watching them have fun and play sports. We love to camp in the summer and I spend lots of time in my yard gardening.
