Senior Team Lead & Math Interventionist

Hello! My name is Whitfield “Lovice (Luh-Veece)” Pollock, but I go by Mr. Pollock (Paul-lick) while at school. I will be starting my first year at Inspire for the 2025-2026 school year and will be one of the Math and Literacy Interventionist and Senior Team Lead! I’m very excited to be starting my career in DPS at Inspire Elementary! This will be the start of my 10th full school year in education. I have previously taught 4th and 5th grade in elementary schools. I’ve also most recently been a Reading Interventionist/Instructional Coach and School Technology Coordinator in Louisville, KY.

As an educator, I believe building relationships is the most important skill within education. I look forward to supporting the students, teachers, families, and all other stakeholders of Inspire Elementary. I also look forward to learning from the wealth of knowledge at our school.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Elementary & Special Education from Bellarmine University in 2015. I later earned my master’s degree in Instructional Leadership-School Principal from Spalding University in 2023.

When I’m not teaching, I enjoy running, spending time with friends and family, watching tv, traveling, going to sporting events, being active, going to concerts, and much more. I’m really excited to explore Denver and take advantage of everything it has to offer!
