Kayla Klinzing
1st Grade Teacher

I am thrilled to be joining the community of children, families, and educators at Inspire Elementary.

I am originally from Madison, Wisconsin, which I will always be proud to call home. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a dual license in Early Childhood and Special Education and jumped right into teaching Kindergarten for almost three years. In 2017, I made the best decision of my life to move out to Colorado in pursuit of my Master’s degree in Human Learning and Development through the Boulder Journey School Teacher Education Program and CU Denver. I have spent the last three years at Boulder Journey School teaching children ages two-five.

I am really looking forward to embarking on this new year alongside you and your children. It has been a dream of mine to incorporate inquiry based learning into the primary grades and I couldn’t think of a better place to do this!

When I’m not teaching, I love adventuring outside, finding a great hike, or picnicking with good friends. I also enjoy traveling, trying new foods, and dancing to live music!
