Inspire Elementary is an exciting, new school available to Kindergarten and 1st and 2nd grade students in the Stapleton area beginning in the 2017–2018 school year. Our name says it all. We’re creating a joyful environment designed to inspire a diverse group of young learners. We believe the demands of the 21st century require us to cultivate problem solvers ready to step into a complex world.
As Principal, I bring more than 16 years of experience in public education as a literacy, math, and science teacher in both Spanish and English. I opened two Aurora schools — a preschool through 8th grade, as well as a high school. Both schools experienced notable academic achievements. I take a pragmatic and thoughtful approach to leadership that fosters collaboration between students, staff, families and the community.
During the 2017 school year, Inspire will be located on the Northfield High School campus, with a dedicated entrance from Central Park Boulevard. Inspire’s space will be separated from the high school so your children will have very limited interaction with high school students. Construction of our permanent school for ECE – 5th Grade will begin in 2017. Our permanent home will be custom-designed to nurture students and spur curiosity and exploration. We’re excited about engaging parents, students and the community in that process.
We look forward to meeting you and your family, and learning what inspires your child!
