Sarah Lambert
Kindergarten Teacher/New Teacher Ambassador

Hi there! My name is Sarah Lambert and I am lucky enough to be teaching kindergarten at Inspire Elementary! I grew up in Colorado Springs and then went on to get my undergraduate and graduate degrees at CU Boulder, so you could definitely say I am a Coloradan through and through. My undergraduate degree is in Psychology with an additional teaching license attached and my graduate degree is in K-12 Literacy with an additional Reading Teacher Endorsement.

To say that I have always wanted to be a teacher would be an understatement. As my mom describes it, I made up my mind when I was in kindergarten that I wanted to be a kindergarten teacher and never looked back. I feel so incredibly lucky to be doing a job that I absolutely love! This is my eighth year of teaching: one in 2nd grade, five in kindergarten, one in 1st grade, and now back to kindergarten! I just recently got married and when I am not at school, you can find me with my husband and two pups. We have a very large Great Dane and a very small Miniature Schnauzer mix, so they are quite the pair! My husband and I love traveling abroad, hiking 14ers and just exploring our gorgeous state when we have breaks. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of such an inspiring community. I cannot wait for a wonderful year together.
