Meghan Rocke
1st Grade Teacher

Hello! My name is Meghan Rocke and I am thrilled to be joining the Inspire community to continue sharing my passion of teaching and learning! I grew up in Rhinelander, Wisconsin (Go Brewers!) and enjoyed visiting Colorado in the summer with my family.

I went to the University of Minnesota Duluth and was fortunate to have the opportunity to student teach abroad in lovely Ireland. It was here that I fell in love with international travel and learning about different cultures. I graduated UMD with a B.A. in Elementary and Special Education. I spent two years teaching first grade at an Expeditionary Learning school in Woodruff, Wisconsin. I then left the cold Wisconsin winters and moved to sunny California! I’ve spent the last four years teaching second and third grade at High Tech Elementary North County. I am currently working towards my masters in reading, language, and literacy through California State University San Marcos.

My main goal in the classroom is to create a safe, engaging, and joyful classroom community where students feel safe to share their ideas and wonders while reaching personal greatness. I consider myself a life-long learner and enjoy collaborating with colleagues and students.

My husband (Chad) and I decided to move to Denver with our goofy and sweet boxer named Tessa and we are looking forward to new adventures! I am looking forward to being part of your child's adventure. Outside of school I enjoy camping, hiking, cycling, yoga, traveling, spending time with family and friends, getting lost in a good book, and drinking a delicious cup of coffee. I also have a bucket list goal to go to all the major league baseball stadiums so far I’ve been to 17!
