Meagan Arango
Early Childhood Education Teacher

Greetings! I’m Meagan Arango and I’m thrilled to be joining the Inspire Elementary foxes! I was raised in Fresno, California in a family of dogs and educators. I left the West Coast in 2003 to study Theater & Dance at Colby College in Maine, and afterward lived in the DC area for about 8 years.

While my path has meandered, it’s always led me close to children, and after stints in regional theaters, aerial dance and childcare, I finally found my footing in teaching. In 2015 I left the East Coast with husband (Ruy) and dog (Bera), and drove out to Colorado to pursue my Master's in Human Learning & Development through the Reggio-inspired teacher education program housed at Boulder Journey School in partnership with CU Denver. My family was so happy to see us westward bound again!

This year will mark my seventh year of teaching early childhood, and I couldn’t be more pleased to be joining this vibrant, growing community. When I’m not in the classroom, you can find me reading, gardening, cuddling our dog, table-top gaming and soaking up the sun with friends.
